• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No CB in rear headset

I have a 2010 RTS the wife is unable to hear cb in her headset. How do I fix this? Have no ptt in rear. If I push my ptt she can talk but can't hear. Thanks, The Nip

I have not pinned out the CB cable or Entertainment harness but as Scotty says, I do not think the passenger can hear the CB. PTT for the passenger is only for talking to the driver based on what I have read.

We have a 2010 RTS with the CB. Rear passenger can talk over CB whenever driver transmits using his PTT. OR, with the accessory PTT cable extension for the rear passenger, they can initiate CB transmission with their own PTT, and they can adjust volume (for both CB and Intercom). See page 67 of the 2013 Accessories catalog. The PTT Remote for Passenger is $60, #447476.

We have a lot of fun with the CB and other riders we ride with.

The volume control on the passengers right handgrip is for entertainment volume and next channel control.

Thanks, Bill. Good tech description. As you can tell, no CB here...I need to learn from my friends.

Another neat feature of the passenger having the remote is that when you have the CB turned off, the PTT buttons (both driver's and passenger's) will engage the intercom function, regardless of the VOX setting.

We don't often use it, but there are times when we're in a low speed quiet kind of environment after having been on the highway, where I had turned the VOX break over setting up, and in the quieter environment we can't communicate smoothly (until I readjust the setting). That's when having the PTT is helpful.

It's usually Sandy that'll use it, telling me to re-adjust that darn VOX setting!
