• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tomorrow, I'll be venturing over the Bay Bridge to the dealership where I bought my Spyder. They are having a nice ride, ferry ride, and luncheon for all people who bought their Spyders there...very nice touch.

I wish to chronicle the events over the last week that involved my NMN products and the response I got from Evan.

I spearhead the addition of all mods. to my bike. On the one occasion I was unable to participate, I had a friend install the mudflaps. All looked good until I was caught in a major thunderstorm on the way back from Rolling Thunder this past Sunday. Needless to say, a fuse blew and all my lights went out!

Being very panicked and worried, I called Evan, on Sunday, mind you, and he was there to offer assistance. He gave time and effort to help determine where the problem was coming from.

I insisted that the problem was due to water...he was sure it was wires rubbing somewhere. He advised I go over the install and I'd find what he was looking for!

I was not able to take the bike apart until Tuesday at which time I realized that the mudflaps were installed improperly...instead of running the wires on the inside of the fender track, they went IN the fender track, thus crushing the wires, pulling on the mudflaps, and creating a break in the line. The right fender even had a tear in the wire sheath with torn threads! Yikes!

I quickly called Evan and after he basically made me feel like a total idiot ;)(which I was this time because I should've been taking part in the initial install), he sent out another mudflap set and assured me that they'd arrive before my big ride on Saturday.

Well, as Evan promised, the lights arrived yesterday. I installed them yesterday afternoon and all appears to be working well.

As a healthcare provider, I pride myself on good care and customer service. As a doctor, you try to get everyone better, but sometimes you can't. When you can't, it's the doctor's job to get the patient to someone who can. Patient care always comes first!

Many here (myself included) treat our Spyders like family, and when something happens, we want a proper diagnosis and fix. Gentlemen like Evan, Lamont, Scottie, and others, help break things down for those of us with far less experience and training.

On this occastion, Evan essentially made a house call! He took time from his holiday events to relax me and give me a plan to help rectify the situation.

Some people are simply class-acts.

My sincerest thanks goes to Evan for helping me identify and correct the problem. A special thanks also goes to Lamont as well with assisting in the process.

For those who buy NMN products, you know what I am talking about. For those of you who don't (yet), buy NMN products and enjoy high end safety and fun modifications knowing your purchase doesn't end until you're 100% satisfied.

On Saturday, when I meet up with up to 20 Spyder owners, most of whom are not on this board, they will get a flyer from NMN and our board here will get a huge plug! It's the least I can do to help those who don't yet know how many great Spyderlovers are out there and how many of you can help make their ownership experience that much better!

I agree and my latest stack of NMN flyers will be at the dealership when I pick up my spyder. He is out of the first stack I left there. I try to keep some in the spyder to give to others who ask as well.

I'm must agree 100000% He is very helpfull no matter if he is supposed to be in the shop or not. I have called after hours and had him answer the phone to help me out and this week he has been more help than i would have ever imagined....I recomend his products to everyone I see looking for some additional lighting :2thumbs:

I agree. This week he helped me hook up some NMN products a different way than normal. He could have said no way, but instead went out of his way to help!

Now I'm off to drop in that NMN green air filter!:D

Ditto. - but I have to admit, your story trumps all other positive experiences reported here about NMN that I've seen so far.

My initial experience in calling him about the CHAD and asking him questions about some of their product was nothing but professional and positive. You'd never get that kind of high touch service from a large corporation. This is where small business owners shine.

I personally expect to spend about another $1000 on his kits over time as budget and time allows - all because of positive feedback on this board, and the buying experience I had with him.

Lastly, Nobody else has what appears to be the variety of product and specialized product for the Spyder that NMN has.

His reward certainly is the word of mouth and more $$$ from all of us.
