• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. NMN Riser Review

Just finished my install of the 3 inch riser and all almost went well. One of the cap bolts was different and I had to file the little lines around the head of the bolt to get it to seat into the cap. Only a couple of minutes and the rest is history. The risers are the " BEST ". Seating position and turning is now fantastic. These Risers are a must and think they are the best thing I've done to my Spyder. I would highly recomend them to anyone !!!;)

Glad you like them! :2thumbs:

Sorry about the hardware issue! As our posts on this topic said, a switch in the hardware by our supplier caused the tight fit issue. :(

This has already been corrected and will not be an issue from this point forward.

Again we're sorry for the trouble.

Hey Evan, took me less than two hours to install the risers, this makes mine a 4" rise. Had some problems with the caps will work on it some more after I'm settled on the positions. Thanks for the quick response in sending me a set....:2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Same here, about 3 hours though. Found that if you put the bolt in a battery drill, and grind the head on a grinder while turning the bolt in the opposite direction as the grinder, the head is sanded down quickly and evenly. It almost looks factory.

Also, I had to modify the right side for my front brake. The riser fits no brake, or a mechanical brake such as Lamonsters...I used hydraulic brake system. Didn't take too long and the grinded area is covered by the brake master cylinder.

Good job NMN!! The 4" riser works great.

A small issue with that one bolt and I forgot to mention that one of the handles wouldn't fit into the riser. Looked like it wasn't machined all the way around so I played around with a fine file till it did. A small price to pay for a great product!! Thanks Magic Man !!

My first "long" trip with my NMN risers. Friday I left for a 200 mile trek for an announcers job I have at horse shows. I just got back today from a return 200 miles. Let me tell you, those risers are a Godsend. My hands do not hurt like they used to after long rides. My shoulders don't ache. I was able to utilize my floorboards and alter my seating position about 3 or 4 different ways. By far, these are the best mod I've made so far. What a great choice.

Yep, if I had to pick one mod and one mod only it would be the risers.

I have to agree with everyone, I installed my 4" risers this weekend and could not be happier with the outcome:clap: My shoulder are no longer cramping after riding and with the new hand grips it's like a new bike again, NMN has done a great job with this mod. And like everyone else, I know this is the best mod. I have done so far and it will take something awesome to beat it:2thumbs:
