• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nitrous or Turbo

I remember seeing a thread about possible nitrous or turbo kits? Has anyone heard of any aftermarket nitrous or turbo kits? Or is there even a large enough interest at this point.

I'm working on my own small turbo kit, using some leftover parts from my stage 1 Hayabusa kit. Garrett 28 turbo, HKS supersequential BOV, Tial wastegate and a TurboXS adjustable boost controller. If it works anything like my bike does, it is gonna be real fun. The big problem so far is the lack of space to run the manifold with the V-twin engine design and air box. The box will come off and be replaced with an aluminum one but making it has not been easy so far. I have not seen any kits made for these yet, so I am giving it a try.

You can replace the airbox with Ken's race airflow and gain more space. :dontknow:

I think the biggest problem will be hacking the ECU to get it to play with the turbo well. Good Luck!

I will still need an enclosed airbox since the turbo will pressurize the box and then force the air into the cylinders. But, a smaller one is in the works

I'm hoping for a stand alone unit for the turbo setup, but if not, then I will have to piggyback off the existing one with a secondary unit. My bike has the stand alone systen that uses 4 additional injectors at anything above 10 lbs of boost. The Spyder will be kept at a sane level of 6-8 lbs only
