I raced for ten years in go-karts. The very small tires
(5 inch rims) and small volume of air were very suseptable to
air pressure changes due to tire heat.
In order to get a more consistant tire pressure we would use nitrogen. It definately worked better than air in these small volume, high temp change racing tires. The primary reason seems to be the lack of moisture in the pure nitrogen.
With that said, I see no reason I would want, need, desire, etc. to run nitrogen in my spyder.
