• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice Alternative To Hard Bags

Tripod

I have a Valkyrie trike and my '08 Spyder. For big loads and long hauls the trike is like a truck. I've always thought of the Spyder as my "sports car".
I've been reluctant to put hard bags on it because I like the stripped down look of it. We'll, I'm wanting to do some touring with the Spyder so I spotted something that will solve my baggage delimma. I bought the CL-950 soft bags from Nelson-Rigg. They are flat awesome. They fit across my Corbin rear seat perfectly. They are extremely well made and thought out. And, with the BRP rear seat bag, I can carry a lot...except a passenger, that's where the trike comes in.

Check out Nelson-Rigg

Happy Motoring,

I would actually like to see what they look like on the spyder and since you have already put yours on can you post a pic?? I am going to order a set but I'm thinking that the CL-850 would be better HOWEVER I don't want a HUGE BIG BULKY soft bag out there.. What do you think? Again, if you could send a picture of what it looks like on the spyder that will help my decition.. Thanks for posting brtoher, much need post..

I actually just bought the Nelson Rigg CL-900 bags. I love them! It took some arranging to get it to where a passenger could still ride, but other than that...very easy installation. I also got the Mini Tail bag to put of the back. (My Dad made fun of me because he said I should be able to store enough for a 2 day trip in my trunk alone...lol) :ohyea:

Hey, Andy

Could you do me a favor and post a photo of your CL-900 bags installed?

I actually had their larger bags and sold them. I ran the extender straps under the seat, but they hung low and blocked the signals. Maybe the smaller ones will do for me and the lovely bride...
