• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TO NORTHERNERS !! HERE IT IS :yes:I was browsing some :spyder2: racing videos and ran across this web site. Since there was some discussion in the past about :ani29: in the snow (I also have ridden in) I am very curious about this product!! Has any one seen or tried these new tire chains? I think they would work well on all 3 corners!

 Teddy says We'll be watching how this Thread progresses- Glad its finally Spring :thumbup:but these do look promissing for next winter :yikes:

I miss living in Florida

My favorite is when ppl ask about "The Great White Death" cause they had never seen snow before :yikes: :roflblack::roflblack:

lol a tire chain is what some people put on there tires in the winter for better traction in snowy or icy driving conditions and as far as using them they look dangerous to me. instead of putting chains on your :ani29: i would look into buying a snowmobile i have one and its a blast.

Don't you feel bad for all of those folks out there who've never had the pleasure of putting chains on along a roadside... during a blizzard? :yikes: Let's face it; their education is just not complete! Let's sponsor some of them in a Winter internship program in Anchorage, (or a Canadian equivalent), so that they'll have that wondrous opportunity afforded to them! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

To each their own on this one. I would be worried about them coming off at speed and getting tangled where they should not be. My dealer tried studded snow tires on his at first and did not like them either.

My other problem: If they did work well. Ever been on the road and had a large tired SUV come skidding at you--out of control? Time to look for the Northern Tissue. Here we call them ditch divers, and they are extremely plentiful anytime there is a snow storm.

I am going to pass on the generous offer to test them out Bob :roflblack:
