• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

voted on by SpyderLovers. BRP could suggest several locations that would be good for them, then everyone could vote on the location best for them and majority rules????? Just a passing thought.:f_spider:

I think that's a good suggestion. BRP could put the poll on their Spyder forum and have all the other Spyder forums link to it.

Great idea majority rules. Be careful though may end up in Quebec . Trying to set world record for :spyder2: gathering. Hoping for 500 + :spyder2:.

My vote is for Niagara Falls ,either side U.S. or Canada.

I'll throw another location in the mix. :doorag:

I've talked with Dale from Wheels Through Time and he would love to host a Spyder event. He has events there all the time for other clubs and he's setup for a good size BBQ. Not to mention he has a great collection of vintage bikes and cars. The guy will make you feel like an old friend as soon as you meet him. He has the perfect spot for kicking tires and just hanging out with other SpyderLovers.

You can ride the NC loop from here. Some of the best riding in the country is right there and there's plenty of hotels and camping in the area. You would be a couple of miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 60 miles from Deals Gap. Cherokee is about 30 miles from there if you wanted to blow some coin at the Casinos.

:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:Now that sounds good. Not too far north or south, but maybe a little too far east. But, the one was held in Cali, which was very far for the eastcoast people.

This is a location I'd go to for sure. For east coasters it's reachable by most everyone, and even us in the midwest can make it in a long day or easy day and a half. So much to do there even if you never see the Dragon! Did someone say BBQ? :2thumbs::clap::2thumbs:

Upper State New York

Definitely agree with a previous suggestion that BRP marketing should run a poll and see what their clients want going forward. A direct mailing to all owners would be best since I suspect that there are thousands of owners spread around the country(s) who do not actively visit the forums. I do hope that BRP does their market research and offers customers the chance to be involved in shaping the next Home Coming event.

I would vote for Upper State New York mainly because the riding in the Adirondacks and Catskill mountains is superb. I believe this location could attract the highest turnout of Spyder owners given BRPs significant client base in Quebec.

Hopefully BRP will give us plenty of notice on location and dates for the 2011 home coming event and provide us with a tentative agenda of planned activities so people can make their plans early.

How about south Florida area some time in March, April, May. Isn't real hot in the afternoons. Floriida Key's are real nice.:chat:

How about Huntsville, north of Toronto.Great resort town and they got her all fixed up for the G-20 meetings!Beautiful riding in the Muskoka area.:2thumbs:

That's a good suggestion, too, IMHO. My husband and I attended a Triumph ride-in one year there are enjoyed discovering all the wonderful side roads. Usually pretty decent summer temperatures, etc.
