• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Next best thing to riding for me

Most folks place their order over the phone. That shouldn't be a problem George. I would call instead of emailing them.

Call Corbin to order. Look at their website first to get an idea of color, covering, beading and any backrest. What they also have that is not mentioned on the website but mentioned here: is regular cut or Lamonster Cut. The later is more like a tractor seat... you sit IN it not ON it.

I got the Lamonster Cut. Heated.:ohyea:

Oh, I will call them, but my question is do I have to send them my OEM seat for rework or do they have their own "custom" pans, etc?

It's their pan, you keep your stock seat.

George here is a thread that I talk about my experience with the Corbin.

Corbins stock RT cut is already 1 inch further back than the stock seat. When you go with the LaMonster cut
you move further back into the passenger area. Maybe there is someone near you in Texas that you
could try out there Corbin first. I love my back rest! I also took Lamonts advice and removed the latch pin for
locking the seat as it would prevent me from opening it up. The new seat is much heavier than the stock too.
I didn't get the heated seat, but if you do you need to make sure you aren't running everything else, they say
it takes 3 amps I believe.

Good Luck!, TicketBait

Funny the title of this thread is Next best thing to ryding for me is..............., for me it is spending money on RT accessories, to the point of :crackpipe::roflblack:

Thanks to Lamont and Ticketbait. I won't need the heated seat here in south Texas...ha ha. I will try my OEM seat for a few thousand and then see if I need a "Lamont" seat. I really like it being moved back some...I don't ride a passenger. I am 6' 4" and weigh 215, so I need a tractor seat with a backrest...thanks for the information.
