It got into the 60's today and I've had a few things I wanted to install but it's been too darn cold in the shop but today was the day to tackle a couple of my projects. :doorag:
Most of you that know me know I'm not happy unless I'm riding or taking something apart.
Last Saturday I got a ride in and this Saturday I got some wrenching in. :2thumbs:
I got a prototype product from ESI installed. I don't know what he calls it or if he's even going to bring it to market but he didn't have a RT to test it on so he sent me the parts to give it a try.
What these do is turn your turn signal lights into running lights.
They were pretty easy to install. The hardest part was fishing the wire for power but once I found a good location to pick up power that wasn't so bad either.
The next project was installing the grills I got from Dave at Custom Dynamics. I've had these for a little while too and just now got around to installing them.
Because my RT is preproduction I had to work it a little more than most. One trick I did that helped with the install was to zip the bottom grill to hold it in place.
I have more stuff to do but it's was a fun day for me. :2thumbs:
