Just called dealer to set appointment for 1st service on my 2017 RTS.
Planned on having them install my BAJARON sway bar at the same time.
Service writer asked.."are you sure you want to install that sway bar? You know they improved
them a lot at the factory since your 2014."
Hey, I've got the bar, we're gonna install it, right ? They were cool with that, This is a very good dealer.
Curiosity on my part, I decided to look at some part breakdowns. This is what I learned...
2014 thru 2017 sway bar is exact same part number. (man these are inexpensive)
Looking at 2018, part number is NEW. So I assume it is an improvement, but it isn't on the 2017.
I thought my new one felt like the unmodified version of my "old" one. So there you go, sometimes your gut is right.
Stay safe everyone, beat the heat.
