• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has The Rear Suspension Improved on the latest Spyders?

We ride a 2017 RT Limited. We have had very limited problems and I am very happy with our Spdyer. Actually it is our 3rd one. We are thinking of a 2024 and wondering if there has been any actual improvement with the rear suspension? Overall the ride is satisfactory but my wife sometimes get quite a jolt up her spine on questionable roads. If the self leveling system is the same as the 2017 then I may just look at upgrading it. Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

Too many issues with the 2024 screens and ACP. Get a 2023 Sea to Sky and enjoy it... We have both a 2023 and 2024 S2S.

Just take her for a ride on a HD trike and she will love the Spyder when she gets back on it. The 2020+ machines have a different ergonomic layout, however the underpinnings are basically the same. I think the nature of the trailing arm single wheel rear suspension leads to the thump on bumps!

That and the crazy increase of the price of 2024s over 2023s.

You will absolutely love the '24. The configuration of the controls on the handlebars is wonderful, the ride is nice and smooth, the new screen is great. I have 12000 miles on mine since the end of April. Leaving for the Arctic Circle Sign on Thursday, 19 days. Then the wife and I are going to Nova Scotia end of August. Don't worry about ACP not being up yet, Bluetooth works, get it. ACP will come along soon. Just Ride More, Worry Less! Enjoy

To sort of answer your question. The newer models, starting in 2020 MY, have improved front suspension. However, to my knowledge, the rear is unaffected and is the same as your model.

I say to expect better ride quality and smoothness. But also expect worse build quality. I have a 2021 and it has given me more problems that the other 5 spyders combined. But I still love it.

i had 50000 miles of trouble free enjoyment on my 2021 wife had 30000 miles on hers only problem on hers was fuel pump covered under warranty
