• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

News at BajaRon's - We Are Moving!

Moving always seems like a PITA. But once it's done, fond memories seem to prevail of how everything got started. Retired? What the hell is that? I'm 80+ and have been working since, ah, let's see... the 5th grade, I guess. Happy Days! Admittedly, I have slowed down some, but I've never stopped working.
I know what you mean. I don't remember my age, but it was fairly young when we used to put up a lemonaid stand in front of our house in Chula Vista. I don't know what we sold it for. Or if we actually made a net profit (though my parents let us keep everything that came in) We did a great business! It tought us how to interact with customers, make change, be dilligent, and gave us purpose and a goal. All good training, though I thought it was just fun.

Then I hocked papers on the corner of H & Broadway to peope coming out of Convair in the afternoon. Then a paper route when I was in Junior High. I shoveled chicken manure for $1.00 an hour when I was in High School. That kind of work really makes you appreciate a good job.

Now, I just can't seem to quit. Though I did quit the chicken manure job a very long time ago. That stuff is HEAVY! Not to metion the smell. Thought it's not nearly so bad until you disturb it.

I think I will miss the old place, having been there several times, but can surely understand the need for more space. When u get settled in, shoot us a pic or two.

Hoping to get up this year but might not make it; my riding buddy is ailing a bit. If not, will try this coming spring.

Best of luck.

Ted
