• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After 40 years of owning and riding Harleys decided to take a Spyder for a spin. Wow I was immediately caught in the Spyder web. Purchased a 2018 F3 T. Read all I could on this forum and watched countless videos before the purchase
trying to find a reason not to buy. Kept coming back to how much fun this thing is to ride. Now need some good weather
before 'going down the road.'

Welcome to the ZOO, Enjoy the Ryde :2thumbs:

Next good rallye is SPYDERFEST in MO. next month.

Congrats and welcome, may your riding weather and comfort with the F3 improve every day. Ride, ride, ride

Welcome from the soggy NW. I'm in the same boat you are; having to shake off 67 yeas on two wheels. It's a slow process because we get too few breaks in the NW Rain Festival.

YUP..... many of us were 2 wheelers.... but when the bones & joints start failing, you need to look for other ways to enjoy the open-road.... i've been on a SPYD3R now for 11 yrs, and had these things been available when i was 16, i would have had one then... at 71, it's now a MUST... just can't hold up 800 lbs anymore...
CONGRATZ & ride safely....

Welcome. I've been riding since I was 12. 20 bikes of all types, usually Yamaha. Loved the Spyder at first ride. Bought it at age 75 and looking forward to years of riding. Hope you like yours as well :doorag:

Well got 300 miles so far and still in the learning stage but have to say this spyder thing is so far way cool. Knees in the breeze on a 3 wheel sportscar. Poor ole 32 Ford highboy has been neglected the last week. Need to ride the new off the Spyder and get better acquainted. Had 20.80 loaded today which has improved radio function significantly. Pandora Rolling Stones radio loud and clear. Going down the road.

Up grade was free.
After weeks of steady rain, today was dry and blue sky, so I rode to my dealer and inquired about the upgrade. They said they'd have to charge a 1 hour minimum of $120. Huh? I said no thanks, the upgrade isn't for anything I need anyway, being a Luddite. I don't listen to music when riding and have yet to download one song into anything.
