Newbie here - any tips or advice?

Finally pulled the trigger today on a new, 2016, F3 T, after about 5 years of thinking about a spyder. Haven't ridden since I was much younger on dirt bikes (I'm 66 now). Most of my rides will be short, like 60 to 200 mile round trips. I don't even have a helmet yet, so any info, tips or advice would be appreciated. Looking forward to getting my license and taking my beautiful Spyder out on the road. Thanks.

Take a motorcycle safety training course as soon as you can. Riding safe is a helluva lot more fun than having a wreck because you did something you should have known not to do.

Do you have any experience on ATVs or snowmobiles? They feel pretty darn similar to the Spyder. :thumbup:

Oh yeah, got many hours on 4 wheelers through the years.
