• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbie--2009 SM5 RS Shifter issues

Hey guys just got me a 2009 SM5:clap: with ISCI foot rest and shifter level upgrades. I am having issues with shifting. the shifter seems very wobbly but ISCI says from picture it looks to be installed correctly. The issue I have is when going into reverse I have to move shifter up and over then down before it will shift. Also when down shifting from second back to first have to do the same thing. Plus sometimes from second it just shifts to neutral by itself.

I asked if I could go back to the factory shifter and they are telling me that the factory shifter will not work with foot rest. If anybody has kept factory shifter and has there foot rest, let me know if it works for you

I don't know what else to do about this

Hard to say...

Tried to look on the web site but it is not complete. You should not have any play or looseness in the shifting . I would check and make sure that the part that is mounted on the shift shaft is on correctly and tight. then follow the linkage to see that everything is snugged up. Would be nice to see the setup and they list installation instructions but the site is not working yet...:banghead:
