Over the years I have attended many shows and this year was vey telling, I will start by saying I had a good time , spent time with my son along with meeting several new members to the forum, My son decided to get a F3, I am very happy for him. Now my observation on the show itself. I happen to know several vendors and what they are saying is that the fees are killing them and the traffic is not there. BMW did a great job on there display along with Yamaha TKM and Harley. the traffic was light for a Saturday and this is a norm for the north east. that's a scary situation for the local vendors in the long run, In jersey I have seen a few shops close in recent years. I have heard also how manufactures don't want to work with vendors.. to what end do our sport continue to grow. ill leave it hear. One of the issues I heard at the show was the cost from local 3 , now I am a union guy to the core but when I heard the amount of complaints I was in total agreement with doing away with unions . the price of doing business was to great for the little guy. We need the little guy ,I always thought that the little guy is want created motorcycling at its best, great ideas great products . a zest for life. if fees are so crazy that these guy cant show there ideas then we all lose. just a thought....
