• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New unsold 2016 F3T

What's the new motorcycle discount? I haven't heard that term before.

Any additional fees?

It is a discount on any new items I purchase from the dealer. Normally they have a 15% when you first buy it and 7.5% discount for the next 30 days. I used it on getting a skid plate, extension on the foot pedals, etc.

The extension is very important to me since I wanted to ride it a bit before making a decision on the foot pedals and possibly new handlebars. Though I only have 300 miles on it, I drove it during black Friday, and other slow moving times. And I am still undecided on getting handlebars for a taller person.

Forgot about the fees. They did charge me $300 for title and registration, which seemed high to me. But I recently bought a car for my daughter from a dealer and faced some headaches doing the work myself, and chickened out. The car dealer would have charged me $250, so considering the extra cost for a plate, four year registration, and VIN identification, the price was somewhat comparable. Also since I borrowed money, it would be more complicated and taken more time then the car registration.

Sixteen grand sounds like a good offer to me too. Lots more money to add things like a trunk and floorboards etc.

Title and registration (and transportation if listed separately) are not considered dealer fees since you would pay those regardless of which dealer you bought from.

Dealer fees are those thing added to the bottom line and are dealer specific. Things like admin fee, VIN registration, sun/weather protection, dealer prep. etc.

That would be nice to do but in reality I would have to sell my current bike first in order to have that kind of cash available. I have a nice 2015 Indian Chieftain with almost 19,000 miles on it. It's a two-tone blue & cream model with fishtail tipped exhausts. The motor has stage one and two upgrades as well.View attachment 156139

Oh....oh....oh.....my favourite bike in my favourite colour, plus stage two and fishtails.......it must have been a very hard decision to give that up, Den
