• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has this been discussed be for? Has any one tried it yet? Having it to clear a code on the road would be nice.

You may be on to something. Just did some digging for more information about this product. Also found the OBD connector they are talking about on the RT. Someone with a GS/RS will have to verify they have this connector. Yes it is pricy but!!!!!!!!!!! it does not require any added boxes and wiring to tap into the system. It just reprograms the ECU with new data to increase the performance of the engine. States that the 106HP will go to 125HP and helps with fuel consumption. It also allows you to directly read codes out of the computers. You can reload the factory codes if you have to take it in to the dealer. They never know you have a tuning system installed. The site also has a OBD Data logger that you can buy that allows one to look at sensor data. This is a after the new year project. The OBD connector you are looking for on the RT is located on the same wire harness as the BUDS connector. It is the six pin connector that has a protective cap on the end of it.
????? That is not a standard OBD2 connector.

I agree but if you read all the data at the US Dealer for V-tech it is another interface that will get you into the system without BUDS. There may be more to come but they have a way to set the fuel tables in the onboard computer without modifying our machine with added wiring, control modules and hardware on the exhaust pipe to add another sensor.
Thanks for the explanation. Watching with interest.

Seems some young (or old) Entrepreneur...

... could buy one of these for SpyderFest 2013, pay for it with "tunes" and end up with it for free at the end of the week...
