• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have had my new blue :spyder2: RT for about 3 weeks. I really enjoy how it rides :2excited:! My wife and kids love to go on rides and this comes from a wife that has always been against motorcycles. :2thumbs: She is even hinting that she would like to learn how to drive the :spyder2:.
I have an appointment for the first service this Thursday (that I made 1 1/2wks ago) so I will have it back on Friday. It is wet for the next few days, the weekend is supposed to be beautiful so I'll log a few hundred more miles....

Happy to be a part of SpyderLovers...

:welcome:
Mr. Blue.... You'll LOVE it and so will your family. My wife also was sort of against the idea.... tilll she rode. She is now working on her training course and licensing!

Your you tube videos and the amazing documentary was my deciding factor when it came time to pick up a can-am. Many thx to you and everyone that makes this site a great one :yes:

Thx,
Tru-Blue

Thanks for the great welcome!!! Once the kids are out of school I am looking at riding to Lincoln City Or. Then head south down why 1 / 101 down to LA! For this to happen the stars need to alignment.... :2excited:

...and we're happy to have you!!! :congrats:

:welcome: I was one of those wives who hated riding on the back of my husbands motorcycles and I wasn't comfortable riding one of my own. That was until my husband got me to test drive a Spyder. Today is my 1 year anniversary with my own Spyder and I love it. I've ridden 13,000 miles so far. Have fun and start saving your money so you can buy your wife one of her own.

:welcome: My wife also disliked motorcycles, had never ridden on one. I didn't help the situation when I wrecked the one I had before and ended up in a trauma unit. Prior to retirement I told her I wanted to test ryde a trike, I told her that if my time was up, so be it, but I really missed ryding. She finally allowed me to take a ryde and after she realized the smile would disappear if I didn't get my own we took the plunge. Part of the deal was helmets for BOTH of us. When we got home she asked to go for a ryde and has even driven it herself in a parking lot, not sure about her getting her license but it wouldn't upset me.

Enjoy your Spyder, get out there and ryde.

:congrats: Glad to see your enjoying your new ride! I am just a few weeks away from getting my RT:clap:..I am definately going for it but I Must say I am having one heck of a time choosing a color! :roflblack:
That blue look very nice indeed, I haven't seen a blue in person yet but I like the silver and black and waiting to see the pearl white which would be the best deal for me because I was going to get it pretty much loaded.
Now i see this nice blue one again so I must see that too in person before making a decision:dontknow:...I am so indecisive...:helpsmilie:...lol. :roflblack:

Happy to have you with us:clap::2thumbs:. The RT SE5 really is the coolest ride ever. Be careful, you'll soon be a two Spyder family if your not careful:yes::shemademe_smilie:.

Ride in comfort,

John
