Boy what a beautiful evening? Hows everyone weekend going? I just joined up because I wanted to network with current spyder owners as to what you think about the spyder. I am looking at buying a 2009 Spyder thats phantom black colored colored. I meant the machine looks awsome! I should throw in most groovy!


anyways I just was interested in what your experiences have been with the spyder.

Although I've had to spend a little bit of money making the Spyder "exactly" like I like it, I love the thing.


I have a Ford GT500 and put an extra $20,000 into it making it like "I" want it, so as long as the Spyder doesn't get close to that I'm good w/ it. roflmao

On the Home page, top left, is Spyder Groups/Clubs, check out the Minn. ryders. They meet North East of you at Mora, MN once a month at Caswell's, for planned rides. Check them out.

Don't know if Snoopy can roll over..:roflblack: But you can search the membership here and find those from MN...just go to membership..search..advanced..put in under location and search...:thumbup:

I have had my 09 for slightly over 2 years and knock on wood I have not had a minutes worth of trouble with it. I have added handle bar riseres a comfort seat and highways pegs so I can travel longer distances more comfortably I Love the bike! Welcome to the forum! Lots of great Information here.

:welcome: It's great you joined this great forum. The members are great and very helpful with the info you are looking for and sharing concerns, issues, and solutions!

We've only had Spyder RT's, so I can not speak for the other models, but I know people love rydin' them! Keep gathering data from the folks here and I'm sure you'll come up with what you're looking for. Our 2012 RT Limited we rode 7,650 trouble free miles last year and enjoyed every mile! We only have about 1300 miles on our 2014 RT Limited and it's an awesome machine!

Also, contact the dealers in your area to see if you can get a test ryde on what you're looking for. Once you get your Spyder, join our MN Spyderlovers rydin' group for more fun and fellowship! Last weekend we went with the group leaving out of Mora (Caswell Cycle) to Cloquet, MN ...some pictures in my album in my profile area if you're interested.

Welcome to another :spyder2: ryder from L'Etoile du Nord!!! Though I ride a 2012 RTS, you'll have a blast on any spyder you ride. For some info closer to home, check out Minnesota Spyder ryders on facebook. We have a monthly ride and always have a great time. Again, if your checking things out, this is the best forum to answer any question you may have. My advise, pull the trigger and you can't go wrong..:clap::clap:

Thank you for the welcome! When you say a minute of trouble..what do you mean by that? Has there been over heating issues with the spyders in the early years? I did see the honda house up here in St. Cloud has 2 2008 model spyders also.
