• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'M AN OLD GOLD WING RIDER AND HAVE SWITCHED TO A 2016 SPYDER RT. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE AT 2017 DAYTONA BIKE WEEK WHERE THE BEST LOCATION TO GET SPYDER ACCESSORIES AND INSTALLATION ALSO. ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECITED. THANK YOUhttp://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

:welcome: I believe that for best accessory availability that Spyderfest up in Springfield MO may be your best bet. That will take place in less than two months. :congrats: on your new :spyder2:

It depends on what you are looking for. Ultimate seats is there with great aftermarket seats (their shop is there as well). F4 customs is usually there with replacement windscreens. Like others said, Spyderfest or other Spyder only rallys attract more Spyder vendors for things like lighting, sway bars, bump skids, etc. Typically you won't find that at bike week in Daytona.

pretty sure there is a rally at Maggie Valley later in the year. you'd probably do better to go to a Spyder specific event for a better selection than going to Daytona. the best event with the widest selection is Spyderfest in Springfield, MO. Maggie Valley is a lot closer to your area.

I don't know the answer.... :welcome: this is a great forum for new (and current) Spyderlovers! Enjoy your 2016 RT - it's a great machine!

You are far better off going to Spyderfest in Springfield, MO for Spyder farkles than to Daytona. There will be far more vendors at Spyderfest (and both Ultimate and F4 will be there) than in Daytona.

I think you will enjoy Spyderfest much more than Daytona. It's a much more friendlier group and you won't be disappointed.

Don't forget to bring your $$$.

Welcome welcome....

To both the spyder world and this sometimes odd place. Congrats on your new ryde..:2thumbs: as you see above , most will recommend spyder fest for your spyder needs. Lamonter garage and Pitt bull are there and some of our vendors are close to you. Check the home page....

Welcome!! I second the recommendations about Spyderfest. Matthews Fun Machines, 888-694-9464, is only a couple of hours away. If you know what you want give them a call.

Welcome! It typically isn't a profitable undertaking for Spyder specific vendors to attend large events like Bike Week and Sturgis. Maybe some day when we reach the numbers of units sold like Gold Wings and Harleys you'll see more Spyder farkles at those events.

NEW TO SPYDER (REPLY)

THANKS A MILLION TO ALL THAT RESPONDED. I APPRECIATE ALL THE INFO. I'LL DEFINITELY LOOK INTO SPRINGFIELD BUT MAGGIE VALLEY WILL PROBABLY WIN OUT. I'VE RODE IN EVERY STATE EXCEPT ALASKE AND AS AN OLD RETIRED ARMY 1ST SGT THAT AIN'T TOO BAD. I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU ALL DOWN THE ROAD. AGAIN THANKS A MILLION.

There are a number of good events around the country. And each has its own flavor and unique attraction. But Spyderfest is definitely the city of 'Farkeldom'. That's not Spyderfest's only attraction. But it is certainly one of them.

That is one 'Infestation' that we can all enjoy!

Daytona Bike Week Spyder Vendors
