• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

VSS

Hello and welcome!
PM me your email and I will send you a copy of mine, which is for a 2010 RS.
The image you are seeing is from my bike and the icon represents the VSS (Vehicle Stability System). It could mean a malfunction with the VSS computer module or a defective pillion seat switch/blown fuse. See page 117 when you get it.

Also, take a few minutes to read the Do's and Dont's.

Welcome, welcome 👍

Many times the VSS warning comes on for certain maneuvers made like angled/banked turns on hills or sudden stops burnouts etc. These usually clear after the computers reset. You can shut her off remove the key have a snack come back and restart. If it is gone and does not return shortly you good but if it comes back have it checked out....

First thing you do is check the VIN to see what the history of this bike has been. Also, have a dealer run a BUDS check. "bought it from insurance" sends up all kinds of red flags. Do you know why the insurance company had it? I'd sure want to know that. Flood damage? Wrecked? What?

They didn't have any info. They have had it since 2015. I will check the vin and the buds asap.

But from the damage I've found it looks like someone launched it. Frame seems sound. Bent handlebar and broken passenger handgrip. Battery box looks like it was crushed by the tire impacting it.

Thank you

You up can get a copy of BRP user manuals via

http://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/...s/OwnersManuals_SSA/attach/06/2010/2122EN.pdf

All user manuals are available

Do a search on BRP User manuals
From the page use the drop down menu (LHS) Select Roadster - Model,- Year
the manuals are listed at the bottom in various languages

once you find the one you want
e.g EN1- Operators Guide you need to touch it to allow it to load into a new tab
once its loaded you can read through it
