• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Morning,

I have been riding motorcycles for past 15 years or so. My father and his wife purchased three wheeler and I am now hooked. I really like the new F3 Limited as it fits my sporty nature but old side. I am 42 years old and retired from Law enforcement. I live in NC and really don,t know much about the area or dealers here. Any information on dealers and what you all think out the door price should be I appreciate it. I am hoping to buy by July, my 43rd birthday. Thanks and look forward to learning a lot from the site and members.

NEWBIE

:congrats:....:welcome:.....AND HELLO - TO A BRO.......I'm glad you got to re-tire , enjoy it along with your Spyder.........Mike :bbq:

You don't say where you are in NC but Honda of Winston-Salem is also a Can-Am dealer, has a large inventory and a good service staff (most important). Brewer Cycles in Henderson has also received laudatory comments from SL posters. Matthews Fun Machines has a knowledgeable service staff but won't budge a dime off MSRP in sales. Honda of W-S is my dealer. Steve, the #1 Can-Am tech, is great.

:welcome: A new Spyder is going to be a great birthday present to yourself.

Where did your father buy his Spyder? I'm sure h and his wife will help you find one. If you're free to travel next week, come to SpyderFest and you'll learn a lot about them . . . and maybe take one home with you. Pitbull in Springfield, MO is the #1 dealer and will do you right.

New to Can am and NC

My parents bought theres in Columbia SC due to no dealership willing to beat there price quoted. I have noticed that Winston Salem has a big inventory but dont haggle much. I wish I could make the Spyderfest but have some family issues that need tending more importantly. I have driven my step moms, she has the RTS Limited 2015 nice but I am really hooked on the F3 Limited. I dont believe this body style was made in a 2015, please correct me if wrong. THanks

Honda of Wiston Salem is a good place. See or call Ron Dob he's the best salesman there.

Big #1! Dealt with Ron when I bought mine. I did intentionally buy at the end of MY and got very good deal, but you should be able to talk turkey with Ron, that is unless the F3 Ltd is in such demand they don't have to deal. In that case, I'd seriously consider waiting 'til the end of MY if saving $$ is your #1 objective. If that's not an option, IMO it's worth traveling to get a good buy. Check imotorsportsinc.com in Elmhurst, IL. They ship. Don't miss talking with Pitbull Powersports if you're willing to travel.

:welcome: to this site, ask questions we are here to help.

Good Luck finding a :spyder2: in the NC area.

2015 F3-S SE6

Honda of Winston Salem is my closest dealer but I shopped around, finally in Sept of 2015 I drove to Brewer's for a big savings!!

Welcome to the family. Where in NC are you located? There are several local dealers, but don't be intimidated into feeling like you need to buy local. I attempted to buy from the 3 closest local dealers. I told them what I could purchase my 2014 RT for from a dealer in Texas, then I offered them $1000 above that price. Not one of them could work with me. I simply ordered my bike from a Texas dealership that I found on Ebay, had them ship it to me, and I have never been happier. I talked to the 3 local dealerships again, and have acquired a great working relationship with their service department.

Thanks for all the advice. I will check out imotorsports. If I have to Ill wait but from what I am seeing they are in demand and not sure will change any time soon. I am the very impatient type of person though so we shall see. But in the mean time I will keep reading post and learning as much as possible.

They have a great charity ride every year in June to benifit Duke Childrens hospital.

19th annual on June 5th. see http://brewercharityride.wix.com/brewercharityride

Several hundred bikes of all kinds usually attend .... Well organized and lots of fun.
