• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just sent my info to purchase the alignment tool. I am going to be in Florida this week but I should be ready to take appointments week after next.

Some people do their own work I know. But some, especially in this geographical area, have a difficult time getting service. I think there are a lot of people like me that just don't want to leave their spyder at the dealership and have to wait for service. And some don't like the idea of not being able to watch the services being performed. I will be able to take appointments for afternoons and weekends for the following services.

When will you be set up to do alignments. I'm about to get a new set if front tires because the inside of my right from tire is worn coletwlt down with around 12,000 miles on the bike. Looks like you are going to be closest to me so far and I think I need the alignment bad! Any idea what the charge will be for alignment and do you have BUDS to reset the steering sensor?
 
I should have the kit by next Monday. I sent them my info to purchase the alignment tools. I'm just waiting on an invoice from them. I am going to be in Florida at thunder beach this week so I am going to ask them to ship it so that it will arrive on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I want to align both of mine so I can be comfortable with it. I guess Wednesday of next week would be the earliest I could schedule an alignment. I don't have BUDS so I can't reset the sensor. I am under the impression that you should not need it if it doesn't trip into limp mode. If it does then you could run by a dealer to reset to 0 degrees. $120.00 is what I would charge to align it. I think that is what Lamont and some others are charging.

Proper alignment sounds critically important for a Spyder to handle properly, and our dealers aren't equipped to do it properly. Any way the Admin could create a national directory of laser alignment resources? I see the announcements and my first question is "where are they?".

On another issue, how much is the equipment?

I should have it next week and Ill start doing the alignments. Like I mentioned earlier, I want to do my RT and ST first to get the hang of it.
