I am You
I had a Street Glide, then a Deluxe and went to my 2011 RTS SE5. And I have never had such care free riding! It took me about 500 seat miles to get used to it, especially cornering, but now with total comfort can take turns and curves at speed limit and above. In fact my husband who rides a road glide behind me says I take the curves as comfortably as I did on my Harley. I tried the manual RT because I thought I would stay true to motorcyle riding (whatever that means
.....but after trying the automatic there was no turning back. As stated above if going used, IMHO, 2011 or 2012's. If new the 2014's are coming out with so many improvements over past years that it makes it worth it. Tried the HD trike, but had to use much more upper body strength than the RT and the cornering was harder for me. As stated above, demo one first but after a 2900 mile road trip to Montana and Yellowstone on my RT can't wait to get on it each and every time. Good luck and happy testing!!!
