• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Ryder in West Texas

Hello to everyone on SpyderLovers. We took delivery of our new ride last month, a 2011 RT-S, and the wife and I are having a blast with it. Even though we have only had the :spyder2: a month, we have found a ton of useful tips and ideas here. This is by far the best site for all owners and enthusiasts of the Spyder.

Our local dealer, Midland Powersports, has been selling quite a few Spyders so hopefully there will be others from West Texas joining up also.

Can't wait to get started on more mods. I think the Brightsides for the front and rear will be next.

Happy riding to everyone!!:2excited:

:welcome: The fun is only beginning...:ohyea:I also have a set of bright sides coming in along with a HWT 3rd brake light for safety.

:congrats::welcome: New riders are appearing everywhere, everyday so It won't be long til you have company.. I just got contacted by a newbie who only lives 5 miles away -- hoorah... :2thumbs:

:welcome:

Come over and see us in East Texas!!
Of course that's a 9 hour trip from Midland....

:congrats: and :welcome:

We're located in Bronte, only about 120 miles from Midland. That's not far at all for west Texas. We ought to get together sometime for a meet and eat. Only thing is that there's not much of a place to eat between here and Midland. Glad to see that there are getting to be a few Spyders in this part of the world. I know three Spyder riders in San Angelo.

You can learn more about Spyders on Spyderlovers than anywhere. We have a pretty good dealer in San Angelo but I still learn stuff on here before they know it.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Hey Bikeguy, I used to go through Bronte quite a bit when we lived in Abilene. You're right, not much between Midland and there but maybe we can all get together in San Angelo sometime.

That sounds good to me. Let us know when and we'll be there if possible.
