• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

stanproff. i have already reached for the hand brake i would guess most every time, hard habit to break. yes i found out she likes the revs-the more i give her the happier she is. did a 250 mi. ride yesterday-if it were 500 i would still not have enough ride time. noticed you'r hometown, stayed in jonesboro a couple years ago for the bmw rally in johnson city. (still have my lt) cool little town, really liked the music festival on friday night, hope to get back soon. i have to research #6, i really don't understand the nanny thing. thanks for the advice

Vehicle Stability System= Nanny
If you push the Spyder to hard in the twisties Nanny takes over to keep the right side up.
I love the entire East Tennessee area, great bike roads including the Blue Ridge Parkway an hour or so away. As far as the hand brake goes, It will soon become automatic with the foot brake and the reaching for the hand brake will go away. I read somewhere that the human brain takes about 1500 repetitions for something to become automatic.

Yep it was a difficult decision I almost bought I new HD streetglide but I opted for my 08 SE5 in Roadster Red I had the very first red SE5 in my town or area for that matter at that time Red hadden’t come out yet. They took mine from a dealership in San Diego and shipped it too me cause I paid Cash for mine no payments for me :-)

New Spyder Rt

I am experiencing the same feeling. 30 years on 2 wheels and I was wondering the same thing. First time on the highway the Spyder was all over the lane. I was wandering from the left to the right of the lane. On 2 wheels we usually ride in the left tire groove, but with the wider stance and the back wheel in the center that rides on the center hump of the lane it makes it feel very unstable. I've got about 300 miles on it now and I'm starting to get more comfortable. Curves and turns are still a little uneasy. Sitting in traffic on a Spyder is more comfortable than on 2 wheels.I also was advised to dial up the front shocks to the stiffest setting to relieve some of the highway drift. That adjustment has helped. I guess the more time I spend on it the more comfortable I'll become. 30 years of 2 wheel programming is tough to overcome but I'm working on it.
