• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good luck - you will enjoy this. :doorag:

First, test ride them and make sure you like the model. Also, figure out why you want one... meaning, what's your riding habit. Without knowing your history be sure to get motorcycle training and then get yourself ready to learn the riding style on spyders - not difficult, in fact super easy but if coming from 2 wheels it will take a few days to get use to the different style.

Regarding dealerships, if you're not familiar with spyders then you'll probably want a relatively close dealership and consider getting a service package (ROI depends on how often you ride). If you don't want a service package then consider Louis Motorsports in Greenville TX - they have the lowest prices I've seen. In fact I met a guy from Florida who ordered his through them and they shipped it to him - he loved the price and transaction!

Also, if you're not picky about brand new then consider the 4 sale section - people are dumping their RT's in their pursuit of the new F3, so you can get some great used deals.

Good luck - you'll love it - I converted my Harley father in law to one!!

Regarding dealerships, select one that gives you the greatest certainty of high quality service. Spyders are sophisticated machines and dealerships with poorly trained service staffs can ruin your ownership and riding experiences.

From a fellow FL ryder

Hey, Baba! All good info below! But assuming you're looking for something closer to home I know 3 dealers here - Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee, Seminole Powersports in Sanford, and Barney's which has branches in both St Petersburg and Brooksville. I bought mine at Seminole (I'm in Orlando), and have friends that have bought from Barneys and CFPS - all of us are happy with our dealers,

Hope that helps and welcome to the family!
