• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Owner looking for good helmet Headsets

Just put the Sena SMH5 kit in mine and my girlfriend's helmet. We went with the cheaper (1/2 price!!) SMH5 as opposed to the SMH10 because we only wanted to talk to each other and didn't need all the bells and whistles. So far, just wearing our helmets around the house, they are very nice! Very clear and with the firmware upgrade, very shareable for music, in addition to talk.

Have you tried them outside while riding yet? Also we have full faced helmets so did they come with both types of mikes, boom and inside version?

Hi Jolvyc,

My better half and I have had the Sena product for years. No matter which one you get. We chose the simple SMH5 with a boom mike. It works great. NO wind noise.

Just got back from Orange Beach, Alabama on a family vacation and Missouri went back to early spring mode, so haven't got to try them on the road yet. They came with wired full face mics and I bought a boom for my girlfriend's 3/4 helmet ($14 on auction site).
