There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New Spyder Owner and First Weekend of Riding

I finally convinced the wife to let me buy one as she does not like motorcycles. We bought one on Friday and have been riding it all weekend. I think we have also a Spyder Ryder in training as my 8 year old daughter threw a fit this weekend to ride with me that I had to go find a helmet to fit her so she could ride with me. I can't wait to get it back from my small vacation to ride it around the DFW metroplex. I hope to really get to riding soon.:spyder2::2excited:

New owner myself in Abilene. Bought the Spyder in Plano.....DFW traffic..WOW!! Took the wife out today for about a 50 mile jaunt. Congrats and welcome. Good folks here.

Greetings from south Texas. Come on down to the "three sisters" for some of the best riding in the country.....

Every day is a good day on a Spyder!!!

:agree: So happy for you guys - wow - you are going to have so much fun  I too am a new Spyder RT owner. I first noticed the Spyder in 2008 when they first came out. I bought a Automatic Bergman instead... thinking the Bergman was a better buy... and I could handle it... all very wrong... I fell with the Bergman and broke a rib, before I ever made it to the street. :gaah: Anyway, that really smarted big time... So my husband sold the Bergman and I thought I would have to give up my dream of ever riding a bike alone. (was a passenger on a dressed out Yamaha Venture) On June 4th, I told my husband I wanted to go and just look at, maybe sit on, a Spyder, I was not interested in buying right now, just wanted to see what they are about. I saw a 2011 Bright Red RT, and well it was love at first sight. She is too pretty to be a boy so I named her Belle for "Beauty and the Beast" - Belle. My favorite story/movie of all time. My husband is needless to say delighted that I bought her... and since we are both retired, we are having the time of our lives. The first time I turned the key I was able to control the Spyder and ride around the parking lot. I bought her that day and have never regretted my decision. Every where I go people ask about Belle, I carry the dealerships business cards because sometimes giving them a card is the only polite way to get away... Look for us on the road... Belle has two Spyder conpanion that ride a long, :ani29: Beauty and the :spyder: Beast.

:welcome:

Congrats on the new Spyder . . . glad to have another Texan in our midst! Check out the North Texas Spyder Ryders Group!
