• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder focused website

Looks good, however before I subscribe, i’m wondering how secure my information is....Do you “sell” my e-mail address, or any other information that you can glean from any comments or posts that I may make? I know, I’m sounding paranoid, but in todays information is $$$$ age, the questions should be asked.
VERY valid concern.

Great Job!

Signed up when you first announced it on SL, enjoy it very much and really like the Spyder events listing! Helps us work out our calendar for the upcoming rides. Thanks again for your work and commitment to Spyderdom.............:riding:

Anyway, don't be surprised if you get other responses about your emails not going through because of the web hosting and email services you are using. I've had my comic strip subscriptions get trapped a few times apparently because they come from server farms that also are known to be used by people doing a lot of spam.
Google registrar and Siteground web hosting. WordPress platform. Seems pretty mainstream.

Spider life

Thanks a whole bunch Spider-Man! I enjoy this site the most. No arguing, no bashing, just plain good reading. Just finished reading about the slingshot. Makes sense to me. You sit inside, you steer with a steering wheel, you sit side by side, you throttle with you feet,,, it’s a car period!!!

SilverFox

I enjoy it.
I'm sure as it grows there will be even more articles and reviews posted.
The ads are not as intrusive as some have said. The site costs money to maintain and the money has to come from somewhere. Just like here, there are no member fees, just the ad revenue to maintain the site.
The best thing to me is the lack of inane comments posted by those who like to see themselves in print. And the fact that is information producing oriented rather than questions and opinions.
The fact it is Spyder only is good-if it were all inclusive it would not be a Spyder site, just something generic.
That's probably why Spyderlovers is a hit-it is limited to a brand with members who share a common bond of the machine.
