• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw a new Spyder commercial on The Weather Channel this morning. Went to YouTube and there it is, uploaded three days ago:

:2thumbs: Pretty much looks like the videos on the BRP website but it is nice to know that they are found on TV.:congrats:

I like the idea of comparing it to nothing you have ever ridden before.. That is the theme BRP needs to hammer not just this is not a motorcycle.....,

I was happy to see it on the Discovery Channel the other day as well. They showed it during one of the Great Biker Build Off episodes.

good commercial. good tune too!

EVERY time I ride somewhere... someone asks me about our RTSM5. and I always end up telling them... "it's damn different". and I usually get that "oh yea?" look from them. :2thumbs:

it's catching on quick here. and since I ride, rain or shine... I get A LOT of looks from people in the rain. :yikes:

So glad you posted this commercial. A good friend of mine emailed me yesterday saying he saw this commercial and was wondering why Kathy and I weren't in it......I wish!:ohyea::ohyea: (off topic, sorta).....another good sign - yesterday I was at SK Northwest (our local Spyder dealer here in Portland). They're building a huge new facility and wanted to know what I thought about their hosting a monthly Spyder-owners meeting/get-together combined with a post-meeting ryde once the new facility is completed in May. I told him to go for it and that Kathy and I would back him to the hilt. We need more dealer involvement. Look at the Harley crowd, for example. Both Portland-metro Harley dealerships have thriving H.O.G. Chapters - good for the bikers AND good for the dealers ($$$). Take a hint BRP Dealers!

I saw this commercial for the first time yesterday while watching a rerun of Orange County Choppers. Very smart advertising time slot on BRP's part.:2thumbs::clap:I would love to see O.C.C. get there hands on a Spyder.
