What are you trying to find out??
I looked it up in the Brp oem parts catalog. It shows it as a panel nut.Everyone who has talked about doing this, Quickster, bengolf, flamingobabe, JacqueTanis...have said to order part number 25000079, but it IS NOT USED!
I would LOVE to know where that number even came from???

So 250000079 is not needed?Correct, I did the install and there was no where they were required.
HELP !!!!! I purchased my ST Ltd about 2 months ago. The heat on the left side only is getting hotter and hotter. I've read all kinds of posts about removing the cat, wrapping, getting a cat bypass, new panels. I'm so confused I don't want to start doing a lot of different things. I'm mechanically challenged so I would have to have someone do the work for me. Which one thing do you think would be the best thing to start with or seems to work the best??? Also if I would get the 2014 panels would it look funny if I only put them on one side because that seems to be where all the heat is. Thanks for your help
There was an "issue", with the finish on a couple of the panels that they were sent... :gaah:
Char,
I am SOOOO glad to hear that this project might be coming to an end for you! :yes:hyea::yes:
Here's to hoping that it's smooth sailing from now on!

Thank for the update.one of the panels was not clear coated...unfinished...the new ...correct panel is on it's way to me.....it arrived at Pitbull during Spyderfest....I had them wait until this week to ship it out to me......but with just one side....I could tell a difference....more air in....
Thanks for the update. When you talk about drilling hole in the lower panels? You mean the ones underneath the trike?Installed the new 2014 panels, and drilled 2 1/8 inch holes in the bottom panels. Heat issues on my legs were improved. Upper panel heat gone. I could actually press my legs against the panels with no discomfort. When I stopped for fuel, the cap was warm not hot. IMO the cost was worth it.
