• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Side panels

..send any color...I don't care....just need for the bike to get rid of the hot air[/QUOTE]

I suppose that suggesting "changing drivers" will get me in hot water the next time we see each other. :roflblack: :roflblack:

I guess Flamingobabe :yikes: has not seen my other post. :roflblack: I agree it would be nice to have some of our southern members try the panels out before it gets too cold.

They should send her the panels for testing; she's probably been one of the earliest ST owners that discovered problems... and her bike seems to be afflicted with ALL of them!

I think the reference was to "someone" with hot air but I can't be sure...

BRP added some additional parts listings for the ST last night so this morning I spent an hour going through these listings and came up with the following information.

To add the 2014 ST panels to a 2013 ST you will need a total of four (4) panels.

Evidently the BRP rep I spoke with was not too familiar with his own product. Or least not as well informed as us SpyderLovers.

I have attached a picture of the part numbers I gleaned from the BRP listings. The different part numbers are highlighted in Circuit Yellow Metallic, since that is the only color in which I am interested.

Well it's good to know my eyes were not playing tricks on me:yes:

I see the 2014 calls the color metallic, but not the 2013. Do you think they changed the paint?:hun:

I thought it looked like 4 panels.....I'll take any color....BRP just send them to me...tia

Well, right now I am 99.99% sure that it is the same exact color because when you look at mine in the sun there is definitely metallic within the paint. However, there is only going to be one sure fire way to know and that is when I get the panels whenever they finally become available from BRP. Geesh, how long can this take...

Thanks good info. I see the new front side panel shape will block some of the airflow from the Foglight/vent, but more than made up for with the newly created vent. So for me without fog lights there may not be a lot of benefit. It would be nice to have the parts in my hand and installed to know for sure. It would also be nice to know the cost.

BRP could sure solve a lot of problems and complaints if they would give the panel issue top priority. Having to wait until December 30, and no price listed only gives a teaser that makes people more angry.

People are already willing to throw down cash for the panels. Sounds like a win-win for BRP if they get on it and make the panels available now.

PS. Were I working for BRP--flamingo would be getting a care package in the mail--very quickly.

OK: we are watching, and the ball is still in their court. ;)

Any new developments on these new panels being availble to 2013 ST owners?
Count me in too as ....very interested.

I check the BRP website parts list every other day looking for availability and price. When they become available I'll post in this thread.

Of course none of the colors match the 2013's so I'd recommend white and get them painted.

Any idea if there's any other parts that we should order or if this is enough?

I'm not sure that's true. You can still get the Black, Silver and Yellow, just maybe not on your model. E.g. the silver comes on the Limited now instead of the STS and we all know it's the same darn panel. Am I wrong?
