New seat

I am thinking about a new seat for the long ride. I want to replace the seat on my 2012 RT. I like the looks of the seats from Ultimate Seats.
Was wondering if anyone has tried them, are they as comfortable as they look? :sour: The rider backrest looks more comfortable than the one from Corbin.
Would appreciate any feedback THANKS:dontknow:

I have not seen a bad review for an Ultimate seat yet. I have the "other" brands. Corbin and BRP comfort seats.

Real users will come on I am sure.

I had a Russell Day-Long seat on my GS and loved it. I just got one for my RT and installed it over the weekend.

I recently replaced the stock seat on my 2012 RT-S with the Ultimate seat, driver's backrest and passenger's backrest. So far so good. Really like the backrest. Quality is excellent. Installation was easy enough.

I live SW of Toledo, OH. Looks like you coming over to see it would be a bit of a drive, as your near Youngstown. You're welcome to come here and check it if you would like to make the trip.

We have a Corbin on our new/used RT - the jury is still out as to whether we like it or not. Don't have enough miles in it yet. Only about 200. We are not too far if you want to meet up to check it out. We are looking into seat alternatives for one of our spyders for hubby

Love the Ultimate!

I was in your shoes a couple of weeks ago and decided to go with the Ultimate seat during their sale. I love my Ultimate seat compared to the OEM seat. The seat is wider, sturdier and not too soft or hard. It does have that saddle fit like a tractor seat and the back rest is a dream. It has a really nice vinyl that looks and feels like leather and is quite thick in feel. I have no numb-butt issues like I did with the original seat. I can ride all day and not really think about my back or butt. They do have a 14 day return policy just in case. Good luck.

I like my Ultimate - I have had Corbin, Mustang, etc on other machines and this is the best so far.

Just wait till Spyderfest (if you are going) and you will see every different seat and other mods that you can think of, then you can make a educated decision.

If you are not going to Spyderfest, then several of these good folks on here will steer you in the right direction.
