• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New RT owner in North Alabama

Welcome to the wonderful and whacky world of spyderlovers. My wife, Cindy, and I will be going to spyderfest and plan on spending the 2nd night in Huntsville. I thought perhaps taking I think it's U.S. 72? west over Memphis way would be an interesting ride. Am I wrong?

Bottom line is that you'll have a ball on your spyder.

Chris

It is an Interesti ng road but it is not fourlane all teh way to memphis and is not the best road around. I just back from a trip to tunica and we went to Memphis first and I felt like I had been beat when we got there. I hope this helps your decision a little bit.

Congrats on your Spyder. My sister and husband (aka) Spyderhog, live in Jacksonville north of Anniston. They have a Lava bronze Ltd 2012. Not sure what part Alabama you are in up north. Happy spydering.

:welcome: and :congrats: on your new :spyder:which happens to be my favorite color! Hope you check out the threads about Spyderfest and decide to come. You will be able to put faces to names and buy lots of "farkles".:2thumbs:

Just wanted to say hi to the forum. I have been lurking on here for a year or so. I currently ride a Ducati Diavel and my wife couldn't go anywhere with me. I decided to go test ride a few bikes. The only close runner up was a K1600GTL BMW. After the test rideI instantly knew that the Spyder was what I wanted.

What kind & what size trailer are you towing your RT on? I'm looking for one to tow my RT behind my motorhome.

Congrats on the Spyder. I lived in Huntsville for many years, before moving to Foley/Gulf Shores area a year ago. What model Aluma trailer do you have? I am looking for a trailer to hual my 2012 Spyder RT Limited. Thanks.

Love your trailer!! We purchased a trailer similar to your, then had it modified so we could use it for different thing.... The front and sides are removable. I also added a tied down to the rear so I can ratchet the entire rear tire to the trail without using the rim. Works great!
