• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all,
My wife and I are taking a three wheeled course Thursday. We have a Can Am picked out but have not paid for it yet. We are taking the class first to make sure we like riding. We don't ride now and will get only an endorsement for three wheels. I am very excited and hope we enjoy it. My wife is calling it my mid-life crisis. Oh well....

:welcome: where are you taking the course at? I didn't know they were offering one for three wheels anywhere in MI. We have a great group of Michigan Spyderlovers and we welcome you to ride with us. We have a ride planned for the 19 - 21 August 3 Great Lakes in 3 Days.

Have fun in the course and I hope you decide to buy a Spyder.

New rider

We are taking the course at Town and Country in Cement City, south of Jackson at the corner of 127 south and US 12. It is an all day course. Thanks for the invitation but our oldest son is getting married that weekend. I am looking forward to riding. Thanks.

Your gonna pull the trigger on that Spyder

Your gonna love it, muff said.

Do they give you the chance to ride both the conventional trike and a reverse trike, like the Spyder? These are definitely 2 different experiences.

I am currently in the process of getting my spyder ...new ryder ... just got my motorcycle license .... just waiting for the clear title from my seller to get my ryde .... and my wife says that I too am having a midlife crisis ... I say I am just at a point in life that I can afford the things I want to enjoy without taking food off the table and clothes off the kids backs ... ryde on and enjoy.

A Mid-life crisis? You can always tell your Wife that's it's a whole lot cheaper than getting a girfriend!
Welcome to our little island of madness in a sea of conformity! :2thumbs:

:agree: Enjoy the rydes. If you don't spend your money someone else will!! Hubby, son and I got licensed last year -I'm the Spyder ryder - and we have really enjoyed every minute of our Mid-Life FUN!! It would be a crisis if we couldn't have any fun. Ryde on!:D

:welcome: :spyder2: is a very good choice. You will find many places to go and things to do.

There is a 200-500 mile learning curve on :spyder2:--so hopefully your course will give you a lot of seat time. Initial impressions are not good sometimes, but 1000 miles or so, later, the :spyder2: wins you over. Let us know how it goes for you.
