• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey there

My wife and I are new Spyder riders., we have 2012 Spyder RT and we live in Rio Hondo, and have been here for about 5 years or so.

I agree there should be a RGV chapter for owners. I have seen quite a few in the last 3 weeks 0r so. but we are always going on the wrong side of the road. perhaps we should get together and discuss ways to attract gatherings here in the valley. My name is Dido and wife's name is Kathy.

Thanks and have a Happy Day.

I'm from the Houston area...maybe we can have a meet-in-the-middle...lunch...just checked with mapquest and Rockport is about half-way...about 190 miles for each way....there is a Texas forum here on Spyderlovers....just click 'forums' go almost to bottom and you will see the different states...click on Texas...this is where we announce our different rides....welcome and look forward the meeting y'all... you can also click on 'community' and create a RGV group and post all your rides there...several options here on Spyderlovers

It might be better to organize a South Texas Group here on Spyderlovers.
I rode with Dido & Kathy and Jerry G. last Friday. Had a great lunch ride to Fallfurias.
Anyone interested in a So. Tx. Group, from Port Isabel to Laredo, send me a PM with your email address and Phone #. I will also try to get info on new owners from our local dealer.:clap:

Part Time

I spend about 3 months out of the year in Weslaco. I will be back down there in March with both of my Spyders. Would love to ride. Jim A
