• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removed the factory analog gauges and replaced with Prosport LED Volt and Clock gauges.

I love the look of these, they both go through a ceremony on start-up and turn off.

Have them set to the dimmest mode and there not to bright at night.

The only thing I have found odd is to set the clock you have to get behind it. :p

Great job, looks OEM

If Teddy had thumbs, he'd give you :thumbup: but since he doesn't, we'll settle for a "High5" ;)IMG_20120117_143833.jpg

Nice, these are the same gauges and set up I plan on using. Was the set up / installation difficult?

Ralph

Very easy, they needed a constant 12v line that I had to run, used the wiring from existing gauges for all other connections.

They do have a cool factor, they scroll through all of the led's on start-up and shutdown like a diagnostics and there multicolored.

I was going to go with a oil pressure gauge instead of clock but did not feel like messing with sensor plumbing at engine.
After all you either have oil pressure or you don't, and nanny monitors that, the exact pressure is not important.

Where did you get them from. I looked at Prosports site, didn't see the ones you have?

I just looked, they still have the same ones for sale that I have.

http://prosportgauges.com/gauges.aspx

They are under the 52mm size and come in different colors.

Mine are still working great and love them.
I also have these gauges, and they are really good. One problem though- riding in daylight there is always alot of glare, and even though the gauges are hooded (they came with shallow shades on top) it is very hard to see them. Sometimes also have this problem with my gps on the dash. All are beautiful at night though. Any suggestions on how to improve daylight readability?

I just ordered new gauges for my Spyder today. I went with the Prosport Digital Clock (Amber in color)from http://prosportgauges.com/ and the Depo Racing Japan Digital Volt gauge Glow defi sport meter (Amber color as well) from http://deporacing.us/. I would have gotten them both from ProSports, but the clock didn't come in amber color. All the controls on my 2013 Spyder RT has amber backlights. Paid $64 for Volt and 69 for clock. Check out the operations link:

Did you have to remove any Tupper-ware to route the wires to the battery? If so how many and which ones. I buying gauges also. Thanks
