• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went for a 135 mile ryde today and the soft drink I had in my cup holder FROZE. Should we be looking at a HEATED cup holder or what? Anyone else have this happen? Please advise.

Just move your cup holder next to your rt foot.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Relocate.

You know that never happens in Florida or California

I use a double wall thermos brand that fits in my cupholder...

If it is that cold out I either have hot tea or coffee...holds very well...I always have water "on board" and have never had it freeze...:dontknow:

Antifreeze level needs adjusting

First thing you need to do is pour out some soda and add some Jack Black and mix thoroughly keep sampling until you get the get rid of coke to add jB ratio right. Then enjoy the ride!:thumbup:

That sounds like just how the ice fishermen up here set up a canteen... nojoke

I do too!
But I don't mix Jack and riding... or any type of alcohol for that matter. That comes AFTER the riding part!nojoke

OOOHHH, i just noticed that he was riding, i thought he was back from his ride and sitting on it in an unheated shop. NO NO no drinking and driving.

(Besides, i don't drink anymore, or any less)

Stationed in Delaware we had many heavy snows. My neighbor and I would be out shoveling sidewalks. We had to take several breaks for either peach schnapps or blackberry brandy to warm us. Seems that as the day wore on, the sidewalks got more crooked.

For me, part of the fun of a ryde is to stop someplace for lunch or a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, etc. I have never tried a beverage while rolling down the road on the :spyder2:. IMO: it would get in the way of my full face helmet.

Cold enough to freeze the beverage while rydeing down the road?--now that sounds like the good ol days from Minnesota.:thumbup: You Betcha!

:agree: I have enough trouble trying to both breathe, and see, at the same time! :roflblack:
Riding and trying to drink anything; is like planning on getting an intentional wet lap! :yikes:
...and jacket....gloves... gas tank... gauges... :gaah:
