• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New personal record

Considering what a spyder costs and how much fun it is - it only makes sense to gear up to ride the longest possible season.
congrats to you..

Oops, dammit!

I ride no matter how low the temps are, Two things to remember in sub freezing weather.
(1) Always unplug the heated jacket, Before you dismount.
(2) Always have extra clothes with you in case you forget number one, And rip a wire out.
{not that ever happen to me}:banghead:

Well, I've done it more than a few times. But I'm lucky because my 20 year old Widder cords unplug themselves with a good tug, so I'm just standing there with a cord dangling and hoping nobody noticed.

Just washed my bike here in Rosharon Texas then took bike for gas run in shorts and t-shirt. Need to turn ac on now since got sweaty washing bik. :D

:lecturef_smilie: You guys can have your day when we get into hurricane season here. But then again they could go north again. I pray they just stay out at sea.
Im just happy to see people ride in all conditions. But the weather is really great here. Getting ready now for a ride to Miami. Trying to decide the color of my flip flops today.

REALLY !!

:dontknow::barf::barf:...:trike::bdh:

By the way... for those of us who've not added Missouri to our "States List" yet; What sort of weather will the end of April normally have? :dontknow:
I'm trying to fill a quiet Friday afternoon with a packing list for SF'13!

Bob, let me give you the lowdown on weather here in the Midwest at the end of April....
It could be in the 30's and raining, or not.
It could be in the 90's and steamy, or not.
It's likely to be a bit windy, especially with all the Spyder stories going around...
It's generally dark at night, but can be pretty bright at times...(talk to Joanie and Kevorama!)
Most of the time it's light during the day, but that can depend on how early in the day your eyes open up after visiting in the parking lot for a good share of the night before..
For the most part, it won't matter, though, because I guarantee you'll be having such a good time that the weather won't really make a big difference!:yes:

In all seriousness....bring rain gear, and layers enough to be comfy from probably 50's to 80's...and enjoy! We look forward to meeting you!

Well, the temp is up to a downright balmy 23 degrees here at the office, so I'm looking forward to a nice ride home after work!
Early tomorrow, off to Springfield for a MOGang meeting and to see that new dealer down there...what's it called?....oh yeah - Pitbull PowerSports!!! though we won't be ryding since there's 3 of us going together.:sour:

Well, lunch is over...time to go back to work for the afternoon!

Ryde Safe! (and warm!)

WHAT'S THIS "WORK" THING THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT :dontknow::lecturef_smilie::roflblack::roflblack: SEE YOU LATER THIS MORNING !

Im I the only one who finds it ironic that the Spyder people in the warm states can be so cold? :sour: ;)

I have noticed this too. I have also noticed that when it is 120 degrees during the summer in the warm states, cold state ryders express concern and don't rub salt in the wounds.:doorag:

Work:( = More Farkles!:2thumbs:

Whoo Hoo!!!!:yes::yes::yes: I've actually got it in writing!!! With thousands of witnesses!!!

I work, therefore I can Farkle!! (Farkle CAN be used as a verb, right?):roflblack:

Thank You, Dearest!! :firstplace::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

EDIT: Janet just laughed at this and told me "Yup...you can farkle, but you can't eat!" :yikes:

Ride

No riding here in Granite City, IL. Patti and I woke up to 4" of snow :yikes: this morning. Doesn't matter how you bundle, we are stuck with the car today!

More snow?? Now THAT'S no fun!

Supposed to be in the 50's most of the week over here- hopefully some of that will make it over to your place and take care of that!
