Thanks for the compliments everyone...only took me 15 months to finally take the plunge.
The scary guy is Sean, the Spyder Master. Without his nagging and master tech skills it never would have happen. Matter of fact I give him the credit for making the mistake on having the backrest painted blue...I really dig it. I was out of the country during the whole process except the final reassembly. Thanks Sean!
The lug nuts were purchased at Auto Zone already blue, so no worries about them needing repaint. I have 14 spares anyway
The paint color is Infiniti Athens Blue, same as the G37 in the garage.
Another nice touch that isn't so noticeable in the pics is the handle bar cover; it is painted black. It makes a huge difference for such a small part.
