There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Major service for me was the break-in service and the major service at 14,600 miles (sorry, lived in Germany for a while but have forgotten how to convert to KM). I will need tires soon - front and back so I expect that to be my next expensive visit to the dealership. But I have enjoyed every minute of my Spyder experience so far.
Most people will agree that 2012 was the BEST year for the Spyder prior to the major redesign (engine, etc) in 2014. 2013 was a bad year so glad you stayed away from 2013 model.

Bought my Spyder new in 2012 (manual transmission with the clutch) and it has been a great ride. Just short of 15,000 miles and it has been great.
