A while back I posted about problems during a test ride - had control issues due to two-wheel habits. As several folks suggested, the BRP-sponsored "Learn to Ride" course was a huge help - 3-4 hours on a training range with a Spyder (and no traffic) made a big difference.
Today I rode home on the same Spyder that gave me fits for the test ride - a 2017 RT-S that had been the dealer's demo ride (they just got a 2018 in for their demo unit). Not quite 400 miles on my new-to-me "used" mount. The dealer made me a very attractive deal, it's got full warranty, and taxes here are a good bit less for a 2017 than a 2018. So far I'm pleased. Waiting for the thunderstorm and the 50 mph winds to pass by before taking it out for a long ride.
