Hello All ! New motorcycle rider here and Proud owner of a new 2012 Spyder RT LTD (I think) here. Just got her back from the breakin service @ 729 miles. I have a question about the Blue tooth comms dongle offered by BRP, or the need of it. I have been reading here for a few weeks and I want to see if I have this understood correctly. When using the dongle it expands the capability of the sena BT comms devices to include the radio, an installed ipod and a Bluetooth enabled smartphone ? Not sure exactly what I have installed although I do have the ipod adapter onboard as well as a PTT button on the left handgrip that I have yet to find a use for.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The "PTT" button is used when a CB/intercom is installed on the bike. When pushed you talk on the CB radio.
