• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New owner, impressed with quality and engineering

I just purchased a new Ryker 600 Ace. I got a great deal on a year end 2023 from my local dealer. For my riding needs, the 600 is a great fit. Coming from a TW200, Trail 125, and Grom, the 600 keeps up with traffic just fine. You will never find me on any interstates!

I am very impressed with the quality of the factory accessories I have purchased and installed. The online installation instructions and videos are very helpful. The quality of the accessories is top notch, and fitment while installing is excellent.

These are the accessories I have installed:

219400800 Ryker Max Mount
219400856 Ryker Saddlebag Rack
219400844 Ryker Shad Hard Saddlebag
219400764 Ryker LinQ Top Case
219401135 Ryker Cruise Control
219401023 Ryker Sport Windshield

I look forward to learning from this forum. Heading to the Natchez Trace in a few weeks!

Remember to keep your eyes peeled for deer and their offspring as you travel Natchez Trace. I have seen a fair number of deer over the past month while traveling Natchez Trace in North Alabama. Have fun ryding!

A touch off topic I know, but I was looking at all the States you two have covered, and given that you're both relatively new to Spyders/Rykers and the Forum, I was being a little impressed - they are the States that you've ridden on a Spyder/Ryker, aren't they?? :spyder:

But then I noticed something else in common on your maps, so I had a quick look at a few other member maps, and while it's certainly not universal, it does seem to be a fairly prevalent omission, so I've just gotta ask... What've you lot got against North Dakota?? :dontknow:

I thought the map was for states you visited in general, not on your Ryker. I will have to revise my map!

Thanks for the head’s up! Looks like I better get busy!

It can be Rohdster, but it helps if you make it clear - no biggie either way... ;) But you haven't said what you've got agin' North Dakota! :dontknow:

I've been to North Dakota in a car, but not on the bike. I may just take an Iron Butt there :) I also was within three miles of Idaho when on a ride to Yellowstone. Don't know why I didn't go six miles out of my way :(

so I've just gotta ask... What've you lot got against North Dakota?? :dontknow:

Welcome Rohdster! I just got a new 2024 Ryker Sport. I am also impressed with the engineering and simplicity Can Am has put into the Ryker. Very simple machines to work on and modify!
I also plan to use mine as a daily driver, weather permitting, with long distance touring once a year. My eventual goal is a Spyder RT Limited for long distance touring in retirement, but I can't justify the $30k cost right now, so I'll use the Ryker until I get closer to retirement and the goal of long term travel.
