• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 Ryker Rally - Luggage Question(s)

Hi Rick. What size and thickness of metal did you use for you saddle bag rack?
I used 3/16 cold roll steel plate. I cannot bend it by human strength, I tried after welding it together. Even though I had it all clamped up into place at its 90 degree angle, the heat from welding caused one of the side pieces to slightly go inwards. had to use two vises to get it back into its original 90 degree angle.

I like the shad hard saddle bag and I'm surprised nobody has made a left side mount.

I agree about the Shads, I have a set on my Kawasaki, they look great and hold up very well. I think the way they have the single side setup on the Ryker, well it looks like something fell off as you were going down the road. I also think it sits a little too low.

My 2020 Ryker 900 luggage setup: Max Mount, Lamonster Garage IPS rack with saddlebag standoffs, GIVI MonoKey universal plate, GIVI 52 liter MonoKey top case, 2 Nanuk 915 waterproof cases (with added latch locks). Interior volume of Nanuk 915 cases: (796 cu.in | 0.46 cu.ft | 13 L) Top case can be easily removed or exchanged with other Givi MonoKey luggage. Side cases are bolted on (see attached photo) and can be removed easily, but not as quickly as top case, by removing the 4 bolts on each case.

Very nice job, great looking setup. Love that Givi top case too.
