• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New offer from AAA

I just received an offer from AAA that for $25 you can add benefits until your next renewal. I’ll say upfront they didn’t say what it’ll cost after that. They doubled the towing mileage from 100 to 200. It now includes a motel plus meals if you’re stranded and it will also pay for a rental car. Now please understand this is for my motorcycle only as I have plenty of coverage for my four wheel vehicles. I have used AAA for more years than I want to count and I have been very satisfied with their service. So if you are a AAA member and get this. offer through the mail look at it carefully and see what you think. Since I’ll be going on some trips this summer I think the added security is worth the 25 bucks.

.

AAA saved my bacon a few weeks ago when I and the spyder overheated in Jackson Ca. and got me home to Reno with a minimum hassel.

I called AAA a few years ago, 2 - 3, told them I had a Spyder and asked what they could do for me to get more towing distance. They told me I could upgrade to RV coverage, if I remember correctly would give me 200 miles, but there was like maybe a two week coverage delay before it went into effect and they didn't tell me what to total annual cost would be, but I didn't ask. Just let it pass.

I just stick with regular tow service and submit the bill to insurance for reimbursement. That's what I ended up doing when AAA failed.

AAA has not let me down on the road. I was just checking ahead before a long tour to see what my options were. I trusted the Spyder and it did the job perfectly.
