• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

since the F3 has it's own board, that means that it's a new model.
right?:doorag:

I'm pretty sure we can say this is a new model, for sure it's different enough to have it's own board. :doorag:

That's my million dollar question: has there been any official confirmation anywhere that the F3 is a new model *in addition* to the RS, or a *replacement* for the RS in the lineup?

Bottom line: will there be a 2015 RS or not?

I would expect the RS line to continue on.

Just vibes here--but am guessing the F3 and RS versions will co-exist for the next year or so as different models.

Sales, determine the continuation of models, and what happens beyond 2015 will have something to do with future longevity of either/or the F3 and RS lineup.

Based on the interest in the F3--I think 2015 sales are going to be as good as or better than the sales for the 2014 RT line up. The 1330 ACE triple is a winner and the F3...

doctorlbug

Why is everyone looking at the F3 replacing the RS, with the upright riding position, and the potential of a larger engine,
I'm thinking a ST. Also someone mentioned that it looked like a single rider set up, so that leaves out the RT.

Come on. Somebody on this site has to have been riding one by now. Someone was testing the 14's when the 12's were out. If they would have spend more time testing the 13's instead of the 14's. The 13's would not have the problems they do. I can believe that with all the Dealers and all the Spyder riders that are in the US that none of them have tested the new 15. lol

Based on past years, the testers have had their rides on the F3. They are most likely not at liberty to say anything until the appropriate time. We even went through that with the 2013's. A few of our well known people were testers and they gave their reports. The early information took a turn South as the year progressed.

As we used to say in the USAF spook business. I can neither confirm or deny the validly of this information.
Plus the above, If I told you...................

A lot of the RS guys who say they hate the F3 were reacting based on fear that this was a replacement for it. When they learn the RS is still alive, they'll switch the tune.
